Sending your child to Israel for the year is a daunting experience and the last minute packing can potentially be very stressful. We've been helping parents pack for Israel for many years and we often hear similar questions and concerns from our customers as the start of the year approaches.
To help put your mind at ease, we've put together 6 of the most common questions and answers about ordering for Israel.
Q: When is the best time to place my Israel order?
A: Whenever YOU are ready. We have filled our warehouse in anticipation of your shopping, and can offer an extensive variety of items. It is up to you to decide on the best timing. Some people find it easier to order early so they can get it off their plate, while others are less organized or are last minute people. Both are fine - we are equipped to receive and hold orders or to put them on the delivery truck at the last minute.
Q: How do I know that my order will be waiting at my child's school when they get to Israel?
A: We coordinate our deliveries directly with the schools and we make sure that orders are shipped before the students arrive and at a time that is convenient for the school to accept the package. When your child arrives at the school, the package will be waiting for them.
Q: I already placed my order but I want to add something. What do I do?
A: Easy. Just place another order and we'll group all your orders together.
Q: My son is flying this week and we just realized we're not going to fit everything into his bag. Is it too late to order?
A: Whether you're arriving in Israel tomorrow or a month from now, you can order now and we'll work hard to accommodate your needs. Ideally, it's best to place your order up to 1 week before you arrive to allow us to get it there on time, but we also do our best to handle last minute orders, sometimes with an additional fee.
Q: My daughter is already in Israel and needs something we didn't think about earlier. Can I still order?
A: We're open all year round so you can order anytime of year. If your daughter suddenly realizes she needs a fan or a set of drawers after she arrives in her dorm room, you can place an order and we'll send it over...
Q: What happens if I place an order and my child does not ending up going to Israel due to unforeseen circumstances?
A: Not a problem. If for whatever reason, your child cannot attend their program in Israel, we will refund you the full amount. As long as the order has not been delivered, you can cancel it and request a refund.
